Pete Spence’s Red Duck spins great lines in a floating world. For a long time, Spence has been Australia’s best kept secret. This book rubs it in more. He picks up the conversational approach to the new tiresome century. -- Tom Weigel
Pete Spence sketches his poems with perfect words and an honest vision of daily occurrences. His experiments with language are a gift to us, his readers. -- Jake St. John
A Book Party was held on October 15th, 2016 at The Green Onion, Chester, NY - In Collaboration with Accent Editions and 100 Thousand Poets for Change with readings by: Pete Spence, Tom Weigel, Harris Schiff, Lila Dlaboha, Annabel Lee, Jake St. John and others.
